Our students are moving in to the second phase of Art making. Students will now be focusing on using a mixed media approach to art. This includes using collage methods, printmaking methods, and using various non traditional materials to create art! Students will be exploring how our senses- use of textures helps to create art, and also how to make turn 2 dimensional projects into 3D works of art!

on this project! Students used lines, shapes, and personal experiences to bring their houses alive!

Reflections Update!!

REFLECTIONS DEADLINE EXTENDED TO OCTOBER 12TH!!

2nd grade Puzzle Paintings. Students explored organic and geometric shapes in this unit. Students also had to identify neutral, warm and cool colors when painting. Students then added complex patterns with oil pastels on top! These puzzles are great!!
